the title has nothing to do with this post. anyway... :)

it's definitely time for an update....

but this post is more like a continuation of my life in the month of july...

saturday i went to honeoye falls, ny and met up with MEGHAN!!! it was awesome to spend time with her while listening to some live bands....some that were unbelievably good and others that should have not been on the stage. it was still an enjoyable time.... but mainly because i was able to see my dear half meg!

and now i'm travelling to kentucky (i've never been to kentucky)! for a week long mission trip at Red Bird Mission located in a town by the name of beverly. 50-some of us from bradford, pa are going on the trip. it's going to be a great experience---some practical and active service!!! hoera! leuk. i'm excited. pray for safety and unity and also just an overwhelming sense of God's presence as we serve.

at the end of the week i'll be travelling to clear creek, pa for a family reunion. that should also result in some fun times....pray that opportunities arise for great conversations of God speaking through me to my relatives.

if you think of it, pray for my sister Leah.... she's spending a week with our aunt barb and uncle jim in the washington dc area. she's not a city person and she's a little concerned about that among other things, too. just pray that she has a wonderful time sightseeing and that God reveals Himself to her in a new way. :) i love my sister soooo much!

on a random note, my cousin bri asked this question the other night: "what form was Jesus before He came to earth, before creation?" i love bri's questions....! i'm curious about what others think....so send me your thoughts!

acts 17 is such an amazing chapter. verses 26 and 27 ....so cool. more on those verses later...

doei!

hoera!

yesterday i donated my blood to the red cross. :) the last time i did that was a week or two before i left to go the netherlands in 2004. on that particular day i had been told i would NEVER be able to give again. it was a sad, sad day.

BUT

the sadness is over---policies changed! and i was granted permission to give blood. i was sooooooooo excited. donating blood is something i really like doing. and not to mention the lekker sandwiches and cookies and juice that you receive for free after giving away a pint of your own blood.

today i'll be going to gold, pennsylvania. yes, a town named gold. if anyone wants something from gold....let me know. ;)

my time will be spent in a log cabin on a hill with a tremendous view of the other gentle and rolling mountains of pennsylvania.......... it has been a while since i've been there to visit my aunt jessie and uncle phil.

i really feel as though this time away will result in some clear direction from God.... i'm excited!
